Talk Dog Dashboard is operated by Neil Gardener for managing Talk Dog customer records, dog boarding and training bookings, payments, forecasts and service reports. This notice describes the dashboard and its Google Calendar connection. Questions and data requests can be sent to neilgardener296@gmail.com.

Google Calendar information

With your permission, the dashboard reads your calendar list so you can choose calendars. It reads appointment information, including event identifiers, titles, dates, times and descriptions, to identify Talk Dog bookings and training history. Descriptions may include customer contact or address details. The Google permissions also allow the dashboard to create, update and delete events in calendars you can edit. The dashboard uses these capabilities for saved bookings linked to your selected booking calendar, including dates, times, dog and customer names and booking details. Review and confirmation controls apply to importing and linking bookings.

How information is used

Calendar information supports appointment displays, booking reconciliation, service counts, dog-day projections, training reports and booking calendar synchronisation. Business records support customer management, pricing, payment records and income forecasts. The dashboard does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

Where information is stored

The website and persistent calendar connection run on Cloudflare. Google refresh credentials are encrypted before being stored in Cloudflare KV. A secure HttpOnly cookie identifies your browser connection. Short-lived Google access tokens are kept in the browser session to call Google Calendar. The persistent connection is normally retained for up to 180 days without use; successful reconnection extends this period.

Imported calendar snapshots, service history and business records are saved in the connected Dropbox app folder. Copies are loaded into the browser for display and analysis. Browser storage also holds connection settings and, when enabled, a remembered Dropbox connection. The deployed website files do not contain customer records or Google client secrets.

Providers and access

Google processes calendar information and authorisation requests; Cloudflare hosts the site and connection service; Dropbox stores the connected business records. These services process information according to their own terms and privacy notices and may process data outside the United Kingdom. The current dashboard does not implement separate staff accounts or customer access roles: access to the connected browser, provider accounts and files must be controlled by the operator. Hosting providers may also process technical request metadata to operate their services.

Disconnecting, retention and deletion

Use Calendar connection → Connection settings → Disconnect to remove this browser's persistent Google connection. The service also attempts to revoke the Google authorisation; Google may apply revocation across other connections for the same app and account. You can separately revoke access through your Google Account connections. Clearing browser cookies removes the local connection identifier but does not immediately remove the encrypted server record, which expires under its retention period.

Disconnecting or revoking Google access does not delete existing calendar events, imported snapshots, customer records or service reports. Saved Dropbox files remain until the operator deletes them; Dropbox's own version retention and deletion policies may apply. Contact the operator to request access, correction or deletion of personal information held in the dashboard's records.

Google API data use

Talk Dog Dashboard's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
